This year, there was one game that clearly stood out as our Role Playing Game of the Year. Gearbox Software were one of the first ever developers to steal id Software's first-person shooter idea and mix it in with the best RPG elements. One of which was customization. Add that to the open-world which didn't fail to impress and you've got yourself a bloody good game.

BORDERLANDS
A fabulous game and one which really deserves a sequel. Look out for some extremely peculiar weapons, aswell.
